Nanolinks and After care

All you need to know about taking care of your Nano's!WASHING: Use a sulfate-free and extension-friendly shampoo and conditioner. Gently wash extensions in a downward motion, avoiding excessive rubbing or tangling. Do not wash extensions excessively; 2-3 times a week is usually sufficient.DRYING: Pat extensions dry with a towel; avoid rubbing or twisting. Use a heat protectant before using heat styling tools and opt for low heat settings. Blow dry extensions at the root to avoid matting.BRUSHING: Use a soft bristle (a wet brush is great) or a wide-toothed comb to detangle from root to end. Hold the hair at the root while brushing to prevent pulling on the extensions.BEDTIME CARE: Braid or tie hair in a loose ponytail to prevent tangling while sleeping. Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to minimize friction.STLYING: Use heat styling tools sparingly and always apply heat protection. Avoid using heavy products directly on the extension bonds to prevent weakening.SWIMMING: Tie hair in a braid or bun to minimize tangling while swimming. After swimming, rinse hair thoroughly to remove chlorine or salt water and follow with conditioner.EXERCISE: Tie hair up in a secure ponytail or braid during workouts to prevent tangling. After exercise, take your hair out of the ponytail or braid to allow the roots to dry.REGULAR MAINTENANCE: Schedule routine maintenance appointments as advised by your hair extensions expert. Follow up with adjustments or repositioning if needed to maintain the integrity of the extensions.AVOIDING TENSION: Avoid excessive pulling or tension on the extensions, especially when tying hair up. Be gentle when brushing near the bonds to prevent damage.PROFESSIONAL REMOVAL:
Do not attempt to remove extensions yourself. Always have them removed by a professional, this ensures minimal damage to natural hair.
PROPER PRODUCTS: Use recommended hair care products that are suitable for extensions. Avoid using products containing alcohol, as they can dry out the extensions. Protect your hair in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind). Wear a scarf or hat.AVOIDING CHEMICALS: Minimize exposure to chlorinated water, saltwater, and/or other chemicals that can affect the lifespan of the extensions.CONSULT AND COMMUNICATION: Maintain open communication with your extensions expert. Always reach out if you have any concerns, questions, or need guidance.REMOVAL AND REAPPLICATION:
Follow the recommended removal and reapplication schedule as advised by your stylist. This ensures your extensions remain secure and comfortable.
